I’m not sure how I came up with the idea of creating a three-dimensional object based on one of my prints.
Perhaps it’s inherent in the very concept of an “artist’s book”… but that’s not all that important.
So some time ago I decided to create a bouquet of Echinacee in a flower pot.
I selected the subjects to be reproduced and created two matrixs for each element, so as to have a front and a back side that fit together. I printed everything, cut out each piece, and glued it together.

I arranged for the flowers to be reprinted for the Diritto di Gentilezza event, held in Piazza Carlo Alberto Scotti as part of Rome Art Week 2026. They were given away as gifts to passersby with some my post-cards and bookmarks.
