Over 150 visitors joined us across two days, stepping into our creative space to explore a curated journey through our recent works in visual art, interior design, and narrative environments.

The exhibition featured linocut prints, design projects, and a preview of our new illustrated catalogue, Il Giardino delle Iris — a small walk through an imaginary garden blending the real with the surreal.

We also prepared a curated selection of engravings and a showcase of our latest visual and spatial design works.

We spent two intense and engaging days with many people who came to see our works and visited our space on Saturday 24th May and Sunday 25th.

We aslo prepared some gadgets and a catalogue of the exhibition

The catalogue was conceived as an illustrated book that invites the reader on a brief journey through a small enchanted garden that is both real and imagined.

We arranged the linocut prints as if guiding the reader along this imaginary path, enhancing the experience with short phrases that accompany and orient the “visitor” through the space we envisioned.

The project began with a rough prototype, which we continuously refined and restructured until it evolved into its final form.

The cover also had various versions until the final one.

For printing we chose a recycled paper Freelife Fedrigoni and we did the binding by hand.

We proposed creating five monotone isometric illustrations to showcase the various product settings as envisioned by Wallbed Italia’s marketing team. These illustrations effectively highlight the versatility and functionality of their transformable furniture, aligning with the brand’s guidelines and the concept of extra space.

Our Illustrations fit into the fantastic catalog designed by Studio Cosmo in Turin.

The consulting firm Equadrat asked us to update their branding. We have previously collaborated with science and education companies through our work with the scientist and journalist Sasha Borisova.

The Equadrat communication and marketing team provided a well-done and descriptive brief- as we have rarely seen before.

The team decided to align with companies in the same field and use a wordmark layout enriched by a subtle message. The “2” can be a distinctive sign, while a book-style font embeds a friendly feeling of education.

First sketches and plenty of ideas are to be selected.

Simplifying the wordmark to just e+2

The design of number 2 has been used to create other branding elements revolving around the bookmark concept.

We tested how it looks among the major companies in this field, and happy with the result, we decided to print out some materials and take a random picture.

In reality, it is a set found in Adobe Creative Cloud.

I thought to use an inflated latex glove, as it represents science in a playful way, greeting our viewers.

A 3D model was created to find a good position for our symbol

The ambitious project of a series of concerts in different locations with a rich program about seasons in classical music.

To join the topic of music with the abstract and broad concept of season 2 birds have been chosen, one for summer and one for winter. They are well-recognisable in Russia.

Birds appeared in my sketchbook to understand carefully their shapes to simplify them keeping them clear

At the beginning we explored two main subjects: A winter forest and a Venus.

The forest was chosen as symbol of russian winter and then we employ it to express the concepts of passion and fire.

The second appointment with the Community has as a central theme the spirit of the spring

Visual identity for the Moscow-based Ensol, in the market of industrial batteries. Bold and trustfull Ensol uses a classic corporate blue and a minimal worldwark.

The branding should easily adapt to different mediums and products.

FOX is a proprietary technology developed by Ensol. Minimal and ultra-bold FOX is clearly visually connected with Ensol while keeping a distinctive look.

Different medias and products can host the FOX cloud pattern.

A set of white 3D objects to use as illustration was developed by the team testing MODO as a software.

The State quality mark of the USSR was the main visual communication relevant for this company from ’67 to ’91.

The marketing team at STK wanted to keep the pentagon and the corporative green as distinctive signs

I started our visual research studying the motifs of the USSR and prerevolutionary Russian Folk textile art

I noticed how the the soviet artists adapted the traditional Russian patterns to the idea that “Everyday work is a step towards Communism” (read more here)

And then using motifs for branding

The main goal for STK was create a logo that works well as label on various textile products.

The help of two great designers and yet great friends of mine (Tasia, Maurizio) was needed to develop a brand book in RU and ENG

Bright and passionate Volta wordmark charges the communication with dynamism and a gentle flow.

A bold typography shines bright on different medias expressing confidence and energy.

Risograph Printings complete the brand experience. Abstract posters express energy flow with a gentle and friendly materiality.
