Flowers and fruits

Sometimes I prefer to work without a project. In this case plants can be the perfect subject. The prints that I post here are made from different types of techniques.

A series of roses.

Here a pair of poppies taken from the herbarium of Ulisse Aldrovandi. The Alma Mater Studiorum has accomplished the enormous task of uploading the photos of the pages of the entire collection online, making them freely accessible.
