I was asked to create a logo for a citizen science project. It was needed to create a friendly visual with a curious and funny tone of voice to promote scientific activities among youth and citizens not familiar with scientific activities. To this extent, science means chemistry, biology, medicine,, etc. We need to create a visual that can represent a wide range of faceted activities.
I thought to use an inflated latex glove, as it represents science in a playful way, greeting our viewers.
A 3D model was created to find a good position for our symbol
